News of the Supreme Council

The losses of economic agents of Pridnestrovie amounted to almost 13.2 million dollars due to import customs duties of Moldova. The numbers were presented to the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky by the PMR State Customs Committee chairman Valentin Grabko during the reporting collegium of the department following work in 2024.

Entrepreneurs under simplified taxation system will not be deprived of the opportunity to work under this tax system in the event of late payment of tax payments. The PMR Supreme Council adopted amendments to the law "Special tax regime – simplified taxation system", as well as to the Code of Administrative Offenses.

The parliamentary corps adopted a number of legislative initiatives developed by deputies of the parliamentary Committee on Education, Public Associations and Mass Media in the first reading in the course of the plenary session.

The PMR Supreme Council supported the initiative of fellow parliamentarians in the second final reading. Detailed rules for the transition of students will be established in a by-law that will be developed by the Ministry of Education and approved by the Government.

Prevention and treatment of HIV infection, sexually transmitted infections, viral hepatitis B and C will continue this year in the PMR. The Supreme Council adopted the state program in the second final reading.

The Presidium of the PMR Supreme Council, chaired by the Speaker of Parliament Alexander Korshunov, set the date of the next plenary session and determined the content of the agendas for the upcoming meetings.

The second round of the #VPRAVE Republican youth competition, aimed at involving young citizens in legislative activity, ended in Pridnestrovie. Young authors received expert support and learned how to refine their initiatives to the legislative level as part of the educational intensive course "From idea to law-in-draft".

The memory of internationalist soldiers was honored in Tiraspol on February 15. The withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan was completed on this day 36 years ago.

The meeting of the Operational Headquarters on Energy was held by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky in an online format. The Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov took part in the meeting.

The events dedicated to the 36th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan were held in the cities and districts of Pridnestrovie on February 14 and 15.
