20 thousand Pridnestrovian militiamen helped defend the young state. 232 people – at the cost of their lives. A flower-laying ceremony was held at the capital's Memorial of Military Glory today. Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education and Public Associations Igor Buga laid fresh flowers on behalf of the Supreme Council at the Eternal Flame and granite slabs with the names of the fallen defenders.

The PMR Supreme Council continued to work in the VIII session of the VII convocation on amendments and additions to the legislation related to the economic policy of the state. Amendments were made to the laws regulating the tax, customs, and budget spheres, as well as for the development of entrepreneurship and support of the republic's industry. The main laws in the economic sphere adopted by the Supreme Council in the autumn of 2024 are in the content of the parliamentary press service.

The leadership and deputies of the PMR Supreme Council took part in the traditional meeting of the President at the beginning of the working week.

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov congratulated workers in the sphere of housing and communal services and consumer services on their professional holiday.

New computers for educational institutions of Kamenka at the expense of the Fund for the Execution of Voters' Orders. Deputies and specialists of the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex, Industry, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources worked during the autumn session on legislations regarding compulsory motor third-party liability insurance, in the field of land registration, payment of environmental fees, and more. The head of state administration of Bendery Roman Ivanchenko spoke about the city's achievements last year, as well as about problems and prospects. The report was heard in an online format by the deputies of the Supreme Council, representing the interests of Bendery residents in parliament together with the leadership of the republic.

Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva and Deputy of the Education Committee Oleg Vasilaty congratulated the winners of the international competition based on the results of last year. Representatives of the Pridnestrovian parliament presented medals and certificates to Pridnestrovian schoolchildren and their teachers, which were handed over by the jury from the capital of Bulgaria.

Representatives of the deputy corps took part in a meeting of the Board of the PMR State Service for Documentation and Archives Management. It was dedicated to the results of work for 2024. The discussion focused on the completion of the reconstruction of the building of the state archive of the PMR, preservation of historical memory, digitalization, security and safety of archival materials, etc.
