News of the Supreme Council

The head of Kamenka district reported on the work of the state administration for 2024. The report was heard by the President, the heads of the Supreme Council and the Government. Revenues, sources of budget replenishment, successes and difficulties were discussed.

Memorial service was held on the memorable day of April 1 at the Borisovskoye Cemetery in Bendery for the residents of Bendery who died in 1992. Living people lay at the graves of the defenders.

The republic leaders honored the memory of the civilians killed on April 1, 1992, at the chapel of Echin Street in Bendery. Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, deputy of Bendery constituency No. 6 Ruslan Gareev and the First President of the PMR Igor Smirnov laid flowers at the memorial plaque with the names of the dead.

On April 1, 1992, Moldovan special police squad shot militia officers and civilians in Bendery. The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov addressed the Pridnestrovians on the occasion of this sad date.

The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov congratulated employees of the banking sector on their professional holiday.

The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov and the PMR Supreme Council deputies for the Rybnitsa constituency Vadim Kravchuk, Andrei Safonov, Valentin Matveychuk, Yakov Galak heard the report of the head of state administration of the Rybnitsa district and the city of Rybnitsa on the results of activities in 2024.

Clarification of the Housing Code, the activities of local authorities, measures to combat malicious defaulters on utility bills – these and other issues were reflected in the laws recently adopted by the Supreme Council.

Garbage collection work in Tiraspol, tidying up memorials, monuments, graves of participants in the Great Patriotic War, ensuring fire safety of institutions – these and other topics were discussed in the course of the President's video conference. The leadership and deputies of the Supreme Council took part in it.

The publication "Without Statute of Limitations" includes 204 text and photo documents that tell the truth about the years of the German-Romanian occupation during the Great Patriotic War. They are published for the first time in the form of digital copies. The uniqueness is that the texts contain original vocabulary and spelling.

The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov and the head of the parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Viktor Guzun took part in the reporting meeting.
