News of the Supreme Council

The Supreme Council adopted amendments to the law "On the Fundamentals of the Tax System in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" in the first reading. The main goal is to clarify in the law the directions for spending the targeted fee, which is paid by residents of cities, villages and settlements for the improvement of the territory.

The PMR Supreme Council Presidium meeting was held today, at which the agenda of the plenary session scheduled for February 26, 2025 was considered.

The traditional ceremony of laying flowers to the eternal fire, to the monuments and graves of warriors, which at different times gave their lives, protecting homeland, went on the memorial of glory of the capital on the day of the defender of the Fatherland.

The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov congratulated the Pridnestrovians on the Defender of the Fatherland Day.

A solemn meeting and a festive concert were held at the Palace of the Republic on the eve of February 23. The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov and the Chairman of the Committee on Education and Public Associations Igor Buga took part in the event.

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky spoke in his Telegram channel about the damage the energy crisis caused to the Pridnestrovian economy.

A unified information system for students and pupils, protecting children from harmful information, and new rules for registering museum valuables. Deputies of the Committee on Education, Public Associations, and the Media worked on these and other Legislations. The Supreme Council mitigated the conditions for entrepreneurs working under the simplified tax system. A new state program in the healthcare sector has been approved. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie reported on its activities for 2024. The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov and the heads of parliamentary Committees and Commissions took part in the work of the online board.

A statesman of Pridnestrovie whose life is inextricably linked with the history of the city of Bendery and the formation of Pridnestrovie as a state Vyacheslav Kogut celebrated his 75th birthday on February 16.
