The deputy corps supported in two readings at the plenary session the legislative initiative of parliamentarian Alexander Korshunov on amending the law "On state measures aimed at minimizing the negative impact in connection with the introduction of a state of emergency economic situation associated with the reduction (termination) of natural gas supplies to the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic". The original version of the law-in-draft proposed excluding from the law certain provisions of Article 5 that have lost their relevance.
The author of the law-in-draft clarified that the adopted changes will improve the efficiency of public administration in terms of submitting and subsequent approval of reports on the execution of the republican and local budgets, including reports on the execution of state target programs, the budget of the extra-budgetary fund. The deputy corps adopted the amendments in the first reading. The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance prepared a table of amendments for the second reading. Among them there is an amendment from the Government that information on the execution of the republican and local budgets, budgets of extra-budgetary funds for the first quarter of 2025 must be provided by June 20, 2025. The specialized committee proposed to adjust the provisions of the law regarding the deadlines for submitting other reports. In particular, the deadline is May 5, 2025 inclusive for financial and tax reporting (except for financial reporting of budgetary entities for 2024). Individuals must submit tax returns for 2024 to territorial tax inspectorates by May 10, 2025. The amendments specify that the validity of permit documents, the list of which is approved by a regulatory legal act of the Government (for example, licenses), is automatically extended and is valid not until the end of the emergency economic situation and 30 days after, but until May 10, 2025 inclusive.
The Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic supported all proposed amendments to the law "On state measures aimed at minimizing the negative impact in connection with the introduction of a state of emergency economic situation associated with the reduction (termination) of natural gas supplies to the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" in two readings at today's plenary session. They will enter into force after signing by the PMR President.
