The "Dugout" was traditionally held in Tiraspol in the square of the Palace of Culture in honor of Victory Day. The main guests were veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva together with the leadership of the republic thanked them for their contribution to the Victory.

The eternal flame was lit in the village of Novotiraspolsky at the monument to the Red Army soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War. A memorial rally for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory was held in constituency No. 25 "Zapadny". Deputy for the district, the PMR Supreme Council Deputy Chairman Galina Antyufeeva took part in it.

The events dedicated to the memory of Alexander Gusar, the Chief of the People's Militia Headquarters, brutally murdered on May 8, 1992 by members of the Moldovan terrorist group "Buzhor", were held in Slobodzeya. Deputy of the Supreme Council of the PMR for electoral district No. 21 "Slobodzeya" Pavel Shinkaruk took part in the rally and flower-laying ceremony.

Students of the Pridnestrovian College of Technology and Management on the eve of Victory Day performed a theatrical production based on "The Tankman’s Fate" book by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky. The honorary spectator of the performance was the PMR Supreme Council Deputy Chairman Galina Antyufeeva.

The information cards prepared by the PMR Supreme Council press service about the natives of Pridnestrovie – Heroes of the Soviet Union who went through the fire of war.

Solemn meeting was held at the Palace of the Republic on the eve of the Victory Day celebration.

The memory of 20 employees of the experimental station who did not return from the front was honored in Tiraspol in the microdistrict near the Research Institute of Agriculture. Their names and personal stories have been restored thanks to the work of the Council of Veterans of the Research Institute. The PMR Supreme Council Deputy for constituency No. 29 Igor Buga took part in the memorial event.

Ceremonial meeting dedicated to Victory Day was held in the assembly hall of the PMR Accounts Chamber.

The PMR Supreme Council Deputy Boris German and Vladimir Ladunkin, assistant of the PMR Supreme Council deputy Oleg Bayev became participants of the "Path to Victory" intellectual game. The competition took place in the Dubossary branch of the RPP "Obnovlenie".
