There is literally only a few days' worth of gas left in the pipeline near Pridnestrovie. Coal reserves for generating electricity at the Moldavian State District Power Plant are limited to February 16-17 at the most. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky in an interview with the Russia-24 TV channel spoke about this and about the fact that the Moldovan authorities want to cause an energy catastrophe in PMR that will turn into a humanitarian one.

The chairmen of the district city councils of the PMR support the actions of the republic's leadership and expect the Moldovan authorities to fulfill their public promises to let gas through to Pridnestrovie.
