The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance considered a number of changes to Pridnestrovian legislation, which relate to the protection of consumer rights and rules of trade through the global network, as well as measures to support sanatorium and resort institutions of the republic.

The Committee deputies discussed the report on the situation of children in the PMR in 2022. The heads of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Healthcare and the Ministry of Social Protection and Labor answered questions from parliamentarians.

Deputies of the Committee on Social Policy, Healthcare, Labor, Family and Childhood Issues prepared law-in-draft on amendments to the Labor Code of the PMR for the second reading, initiated by deputies of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens Galina Antyufeyeva and Oleg Petrik.

Deputies of the Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare considered the legislative initiative of the Government, which proposes to enshrine in law the possibility of conducting certification of employees of medical organizations with higher non-medical education.

The Committee deputies discussed developed by the PMR Government amendments and additions to the law “On social protection of citizens affected by the Chernobyl disaster and other radiation or man-made disasters”.

The Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens reviewed legislations amending the Code of Administrative Offenses, the Criminal Procedure Code, and the law “On administrative supervision of internal affairs bodies over persons released from prison”.

The Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance began work on a legislative initiative prepared by the Chairman of the Committee Victor Guzun. The deputy proposes to adjust the rule that determines how many hired workers individual entrepreneurs can engage under a civil contract.

The law-in-draft, which involves introducing amendments and additions to the law “On Corporate Income Tax,” was considered by the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex, Industry, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources.
