News of the Committees

Deputies and representatives of the Government discussed amendments to the law on the budget for the current year at a regular meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance. This is due to the need to approve and redistribute the budget balances that were formed on January 1, 2023.

The Committee on Education, Public Associations and Mass Media discussed the Decree of the Government on the increase in tuition fees at the Pridnestrovian State University and the order of the rector on additional payment by contract students in the second semester to the new tuition fee.

Parliamentarians considered amendments and additions to a number of laws related to the activities of entrepreneurs at the meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy on March 14.

The Committee on Legislation considered amendments to the Law "On Advertising" and the Code of Administrative Offenses.

Meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy was held. The parliamentarians together with those invited discussed amendments and additions to the law on the budget for the current year, as well as a package of legislations that relate to the importation of personal vehicles into the territory of the republic and the payment of a vignette fee for using roads.

Deputies of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Public Associations and Mass Media supported the additions to the PMR Law “On immovable objects of cultural heritage” in the second reading. The law-in-draft will be sent for consideration at the next plenary session of Parliament.

Information on the results of the activities of the PMR Prosecutor's Office for 2022 was received by the Supreme Council. The deputies of the Committee on Legislation will recommend to their colleagues in the deputy corps to approve the report at one of the plenary sessions.

The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance at the meeting considered in the first reading a package of legislative initiatives that are designed to streamline and improve the procedure for bankruptcy of business entities in Pridnestrovie.

The deputies of the Committee on Social Policy considered the Government's initiatives regarding the application of guarantees for the manufacture and installation of tombstones.

Parliamentarians at a regular meeting of the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex, Industry, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources together with those invited discussed a number of legislations that are being prepared for adoption in the second reading.
