Skill improvement training for laboratory diagnostics specialists

Laboratory workers in hospitals and clinics with higher non-medical education will be able to undergo certification for the assignment and confirmation of qualification categories. We are talking about employees with higher professional education in biology and chemistry. The Government proposed to make additions to the Law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic “On the Fundamentals of Protecting the Health of Citizens”. Deputies of the Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare discussed the legislative initiative at today's meeting.

Such laboratory diagnostic specialists are offered a monthly bonus for the qualification category in the amount of 25 to 100 minimum wages (from 235 to 940 rubles) depending on the category and level of education. The corresponding changes will be recorded in the law “On wages of public sector employees, monetary allowances for military personnel and persons equal to them under the terms of payment of monetary allowances, and monetary allowances for state civil servants”.

The Committee unanimously supported the Government's proposal. The legislations are sent for consideration at the plenary meeting in the first reading. The new norms will come into force on January 1, 2024 if adopted in final reading.
