Deputies of the Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare discussed the initiative of parliamentarian Igor Buga to amend the state program of preferential lending to the PMR defenders and Afghan soldiers who became disabled of I, II or III groups.

Meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance was held. The parliamentarians considered a number of legislative initiatives that involve amendments and additions to the law on the republican budget for 2023, to the law on the budget of the Unified State Social Insurance Fund as well as to the law “On the Unified Social Tax and Mandatory Insurance Contribution”.

Deputies of the Committee on legislation, protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens developed law-in-draft "On Free Legal Aid in the PMR". The initiative was supported at a meeting of the relevant Committee.

A group of parliamentarians submitted legislation “On the PMR Fund for Capital Investments” to the Supreme Council for consideration. The deputies plan to prescribe the rules for the functioning of the Capital Investment Fund, sources for its replenishment and implementation mechanisms, the rights and obligations of state customers of the objects of the Capital Investment Fund.

Measures to deal with persistent offenders on the roads were developed by the Committee on Legislation Deputies. The law-in-draft is an alternative to penalty points, which were previously proposed to be introduced in the republic following the example of other states.

The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance considered a package of legislations that will help create favorable conditions in the field of taxation for the domestic tourism development.

The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance considered several legislative initiatives that came to the Supreme Council from the President in the mode of legislative necessity.

The law-in-draft on introducing additions to the law "On corporate income tax" was submitted to the Supreme Council. As the Minister of Economic Development noted, the law-in-draft was developed in order to create favorable tax conditions for the development of industrial production in the republic.

The City Council of Bendery initiated law-in-draft suggesting that deputies from the district should participate in commissions for the acceptance of repair and construction work performed at the expense of the republican and local budgets. The initiative was considered at a meeting of the relevant Committee.
