Deputies of the Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare discussed the Government's law-in-draft on amending the law “On social protection of persons with disabilities”. The law-in-draft proposes to include in the relevant law measures of state support for children with disabilities, which are now enshrined in anti-crisis legislation.
The Government proposed to consolidate on a permanent basis state support measures for the social protection of kindergarten pupils, schoolchildren and students who have benefits in paying for meals. Amendments to the law “On Education” were discussed by deputies of the Committee on Education, Public Associations and the Media.
Deputies of the Committee on Regional Policy, Local Self-Government and Housing and Communal Services supported legislations to amend the Housing Code and other initiatives relating to the work of local government bodies.
Government initiatives on measures to support economic entities of the republic to minimize the negative consequences of the unfavorable foreign economic and foreign policy situation were considered by deputies at the last meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance.
