Deputies of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Citizens prepared relevant legislations for consideration in the first or second readings.

The Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex, Industry, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources supported the law-in-draft of the PMR Prosecutor, which would oblige auto insurance companies to notify victims in writing of the decision to refuse insurance payment.

Deputies considered in the course of the meeting of the parliamentary Committee on Education, Public Associations and the Media the law-in-draft amending the law "On the Museum Fund and Museums in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" in the first reading.

The meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance was held. Parliamentarians, together with representatives of the Government and city councils, continued work on the legislative initiative of the Government on amendments and additions to the Law of the PMR "On the Lease of State and Municipal Property".

Deputies of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Citizens considered at the meeting a package of legislations prepared by the PMR Prosecutor Anatoly Guretsky and the Chairman of the Committee Galina Antyufeyeva. Amendments are made to adjust the conditions for the application of parole and the replacement of punishment with a more lenient one.

Young families who have taken out a soft loan to purchase housing will be able to transfer these obligations to the other spouse if necessary. This legislative initiative was discussed in the first reading today in the course of the meeting of the Committee on Regional Policy, Local Self-Government and Housing and Communal Services of the PMR Supreme Council.

The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance continues to work on introducing amendments and additions to the law on the republican budget for 2024, which provide for an increase in salaries for teachers and doctors.
