The manufacturing sector in 2023 produced 11.7% more milk compared to the same period last year. The increase in milk production is associated with the high productivity of imported breeding stock and the culling of low-productive animals. The information is presented in the report of the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources on the results of the implementation of the state program for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the PMR last year. All activities planned by the state program were carried out within the framework of the Agriculture Support Fund. It was planned last year to spend 20.1 million rubles on the state program, but 19.4 million were actually financed, so the completion rate was 96.4%.
As part of the state program, almost 1.5 million was allocated to subsidize part of the costs of purchasing pedigree dairy cattle. As explained by the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Oleg Diligul, enterprises that applied to purchase heifers from abroad were unable to form supply contracts due to problems with logistics. Therefore, it was decided to purchase heifers on the domestic market, the minister informed.
17.6 million rubles were allocated to subsidize domestic agricultural organizations, including peasant farms, in terms of the volume of milk supplied from their own production for industrial processing.
Anti-epizootic measures were financed last year – the prevention, detection and elimination of infectious animal diseases under the state program for the development of the agro-industrial complex. Almost 300 thousand rubles were spent for these purposes.
Deputies of the relevant committee decided based on the results of the discussion to recommend in the course of the plenary meeting of the Supreme Council to approve the report of the state program for the development of the agro-industrial complex for 2023.
