Amendments to the PMR Law “On Education” were developed by deputies of the relevant parliamentary Committee Igor Buga, Andrei Safonov and Pavel Shinkaryuk.

The Parliamentary Committee on Education, Public Associations and Mass media held a meeting. The agenda included the legislations prepared for consideration in the first or second readings at plenary sessions and relating to the field of general education, including preschool education, as well as information protection in Pridnestrovie.

Deputies of the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex, Industry and Natural Resources reviewed the report of the Ministry of Agriculture on the implementation of the state program for the restoration and development of the reclamation complex in 2023.

The report on the implementation of the “Development of the agro-industrial complex of the PMR for 2019–2026” state program for 2023 was considered at a meeting of the relevant parliamentary committee.

The meeting of the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex, Industry, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources was held online. Parliamentarians during the meeting together with those invited heard reports on the implementation of relevant government programs based on the results of last year.

The Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare listened to reports from the Government on the implementation of state target programs in the field of health and social policy in 2023.

One of the issues at the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy, Healthcare, Labor, Family and Childhood Issues was a report on the progress of implementation in 2023 of the state program to provide housing for orphans and children without parental care.

Deputies of the Committee on Regional Policy considered law-in-draft on expanding the powers of the Tiraspol City Council and the capital's state administration. It is proposed to amend the law “On the status of the capital of the PMR”.

Deputies of the Committee on Education, Public Associations and Media heard reports from the chief editors of state media today. They talked about new projects and problems.

The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance meeting was held online. Parliamentarians considered the law-in-draft on introducing amendments and additions to the law “On the Republican Budget for 2024”, and to the law “On Insolvency (Bankruptcy)” in the first reading.
