Dear Pridnestrovians!
Dear residents of Bendery!
We pay tribute today to the memory of our comrades who died in the line of duty. We thank those who defended the city of Bendery, who stood firm and won, who survived and continue to conscientiously fulfill their official duty to this day.
April 1, 1992 became a day of grief, tears and losses for the residents of Bendery. Having demonstrated courage and high consciousness, the employees of the Bendery militia, guard and people's militia honorably fulfilled their sacred duty, giving the most precious thing – their lives.
33 years have passed since the beginning of Moldova's military aggression against the people of Pridnestrovie, and today, on the day of the death of the city's defenders, remembering the dead – militia captain Echin Grigory Pavlovich, militia private Grek Igor Petrovich, militia junior sergeant Petrov Anatoly Nikolaevich and many others – we must be firmly convinced that such a thing will never happen again.
Eternal glory to the fallen defenders!
Peace, tranquility and prosperity to our Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic!
Chairman of the Supreme Council
of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic
