Amendments to the Law "On Customs Tariff" will exempt pharmaceutical products and medical equipment imported within the framework of state target programs by state institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Healthcare from customs duties.

The deputies supported the law-in-draft in the second final reading. The start of the program was postponed until January 1, 2026 due to the difficult economic situation in the republic.

The Supreme Council deputies in the course of the plenary session heard a report by the PMR Prosecutor Anatoly Guretsky on the state of law and order in the republic and the work done to strengthen them in 2024. The Resolution of the Supreme Council on the approval of the submitted report was adopted.

The Government will answer questions from deputies by May 1 as part of the report on the work of the supreme executive body for 2024. Members of Parliament are interested in both the problems of specific people and the life of the state.

A detailed report was presented by the head of the department Elena Kulichenko. Chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Social Policy and Labor Sergey Cheban took part in the work of the reporting Board.

The PMR Supreme Council Presidium supplemented the agenda of the plenary session, which will take place tomorrow, March 26.

The report on the work done last year was presented by Ruslan Chaban, the head of state administration of Dubossary district and Dubossary. The results were heard by the Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov and deputies representing the interests of Dubossary residents in parliament, Oleg Bayev and Boris German.

Meeting between the deputy of the Supreme Council of the PMR Andrey Mezhinsky with voters and activists of the district was held in constituency No. 32 "Komsomolsky" in Tiraspol. Summing up the results of 2024 and discussing plans for the near future were the main topics of the reporting meeting.

The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov addressed the PMR meteorological service employees on the occasion of their professional holiday.
