The PMR Supreme Council adopted in two readings today the amendments to the law on support measures during the state of emergency in the economy. The new support measures concern privileged categories of citizens whose homes have electric and gas boilers.

The PMR Supreme Council approved the Presidential Decree on the extension of the state of emergency in the territory of Pridnestrovie for another 30 days.

The Pridnestrovian side, was represented by the Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Belous, Vice-Speaker of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva, First Deputy Chairman of the Government – Minister of Economic Development Sergei Obolonik, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev and his deputy Alexander Stetsyuk in addition to the PMR President.

The PMR Supreme Council held a meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance and a meeting of the parliamentary Presidium on January 9. The main issues on the agenda of the online meetings were the approval of the Decree of the President of the PMR on the extension of the state of emergency in Pridnestrovie for another 30 days.

The President noted the humanitarian and technical assistance to Pridnestrovie from the Russian Federation and asked the leadership of the Republic of Moldova not to speculate on the topic of the energy crisis.
