The President held a video conference

Containers and for solid household waste were overflowing in many microdistricts of Tiraspol last week. The deputies raised this issue on March 28 in the course of the reporting meeting on the results of the capital's state administration. The garbage has been removed at present, the work is carried out in the normal mode, said the head of Tiraspol Ilona Tyuryaeva at a conference call, which is held every Monday by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky. The Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and members of the Presidium took part in the video conference. 

In addition to the problem of untimely removal of solid waste, the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was interested in the implementation of social obligations at the local level, according to the presidential press-service.

They talked about celebrating the anniversaries of the liberation of settlements in Pridnestrovie from the German-Romanian invaders. The north of the republic has already celebrated the 81st anniversary, other districts are preparing celebratory and thematic events. Work is being carried out everywhere to put memorials, monuments, and graves of participants in the Great Patriotic War in order. The Victory Arch on the central square of the city is being reconstructed in Slobodzeya among other things, said Vasily Tishchenko. Special attention is paid to landscaping in addition to repair work – both memorial sites and streets and recreational areas. For example, lilac bushes will be planted this week in Victory Park in the Leninsky microdistrict of Bendery, fifty seedlings of various trees were recently rooted in Grigoriopol, landscaping events are being held as part of a month of improvement in Dubossary. The President aimed at intensifying work in this direction and indicated that by the beginning of May he expects detailed reports from all heads. 

The PMR President asked whether the problem with the delay in garbage collection in the capital had been resolved. Residents of Tiraspol noted that solid household waste was not removed on time, in many microdistricts the containers and were overflowing last week. Ilona Tyuryaeva reported that the garbage had been removed, the work was being carried out in the normal mode. 

Ruslan Chaban said that the health camp in Dubossary has begun to prepare for the summer season. The opening is scheduled for the 15th of June. Three shifts are expected. All shifts include about a thousand vacationers.

The topic that Vadim Krasnoselsky raised at the meeting was ensuring fire safety of institutions. Emergency exits must be accessible, warning and fire extinguishing equipment in working order.

The temperature regime in educational institutions was also discussed. Schoolchildren resumed their studies today after the spring break. School administrations report that the premises are cool. The President noted that if necessary it is permissible to resort to the practice of conducting lessons remotely, shorten the duration of classes or start local boiler houses if they are available.
