Deputies of the Committee on Legislation initiated amendments to the law “On the Status of Military Personnel”. The law-in-draft will give military personnel the right to engage in paid sports activities in the field of elite sports.

Deputies of the Committee on Legislation considered a number of relevant legislations received by the Supreme Council from deputies and the Government.

The Committee on Legislation, Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Citizens considered the law-in-draft of the President on simplifying the issuance of a new driver's license to replace the old one.

Deputies of the Committee on Legislation supported the President's law-in-draft on introducing administrative liability for non-compliance with the requirements prescribed by road signs or road markings prohibiting stopping or parking of vehicles.

Deputies of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens prepared amendments and additions to the Code of Administrative Offenses in order to clarify the norms of administrative legislation, eliminate legal gaps, and harmonize them with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

The Committee on Legislation considered the draft of the new state program “Improvement and preservation of burial places of Heroes of the Soviet Union, full holders of the Order of Glory and Memorials of Military Glory of the Great Patriotic War” for 2024-2025”.

The Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens reviewed legislations amending the Code of Administrative Offenses, the Criminal Procedure Code, and the law “On administrative supervision of internal affairs bodies over persons released from prison”.

The Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens is completing work on the law-in-draft of the PMR Prosecutor on introducing into the legal environment of the republic a new law “On advocacy in the PMR”.

The Committee on Legislation considered and prepared a number of relevant legislations for discussion at the upcoming plenary sessions.
