Deputies of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Citizens discussed relevant legislations submitted for consideration by the Supreme Council in the course of the meeting.
For example, there was an initiative from parliamentarians Alexander Korshunov and Galina Antyufeyeva to amend the Constitutional Law “On the Constitutional Court of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic”. The authors propose to provide the right to legal entities, as well as individuals, to appeal to the Constitutional Court to protect their rights. The relevant committee decided to recommend that the parliamentary corps adopt the law-in-draft in the first reading.
The Government initiated changes to the law “On Civil Status Acts”. It is proposed to exclude the obligation to indicate information about the place of work when submitting applications for marriage, establishing paternity, and to enter this information into the birth certificate record during state civil registration in the civil registry office. This law-in-draft was supported by the relevant committee for adoption in the first reading.
