The Committee on Legislation, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms held a meeting in the course of which a number of legislative initiatives were considered, prepared for consideration at the plenary session in the first and second readings.

Deputies of the Committee on Legislative supported the law-in-draft of the President to exempt the defenders of the republic from paying state duty for vehicle inspection.

A number of laws were amended in connection with the development of the "Electronic Payments" state information system. The deputies of the Committee on Legislation spoke for the adoption of the relevant legislations in two readings.

People will no longer need an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs when submitting an application to the court. The judicial authorities will be able to independently obtain the necessary information. The relevant legislations were considered by the deputies of the Legislation Committee.

A group of deputies of the Legislation Committee initiated amendments to the Criminal Code concerning the establishment of responsibility for desecrating symbols of military glory, publicly insulting the memory of defenders of the Fatherland and humiliating the honor and dignity of World War II veterans.

The Committee on Legislation considered the legislations of the President and the deputies of the Supreme Council.

The Supreme Council deputies Galina Antyufeyeva, Oleg Petrik and Stepan Stepanov proposed to change the norms of the Administrative Code. The initiative was developed on the basis of citizens' appeals.

The Committee on Legislation submitted for the first reading the draft state program for regulating the number of stray animals for the deputies' consideration. It is calculated until 2024 and implies the capture, sterilization, vaccination and return of animals to their habitat.

The Supreme Council is considering a package of legislations establishing the rules for broadcasting court hearings on radio, television and on the global Internet. The issue was considered by the relevant committee on legislation.
