The deputies of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens at the first meeting in the spring session discussed a number of legislations that will be considered at the next plenary meetings.

The legislations, two of which are aimed at improving the situation of convicts were discussed at the meeting by the Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens. Amendments to the second reading were considered.

The Committee on Legislation discussed the Prosecutor's law-in-draft that increases the liability for drunk driving of drivers who already have a criminal record for it. Amendments have been prepared for the second reading.

The Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens considered in the course of the meeting the law-in-draft of the PMR Prosecutor, aimed at strengthening the responsibility for drivers who drive while intoxicated.

The Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens supported the law-in-draft of the PMR President on amendments and additions to the Code of Administrative Violations. The adjustment is necessary for the unhindered access of people with special needs to infrastructure facilities.

The concepts of "unmanned aerial vehicle", "unmanned aerial system" are introduced into the Pridnestrovian legislation, and norms are introduced to be able to prevent the illegal presence of unmanned aerial vehicles in the airspace. The legislations were received from the President in the mode of legislative necessity were considered by the Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens.

Deputies of the Committee on Legislation proposed to improve the activities of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the PMR as well as his interaction with state authorities.
