News of the Committees

The draft Resolutions developed by the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms on behalf of the PMR President will be included in the agenda of one of the upcoming plenary sessions.

The Committee on Legislation, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms has prepared a draft resolution of the Supreme Council on information from the PMR Arbitration Court on the results of its activities for the past year.

The initiative included in the agenda of the meeting of the Legislation Committee concerned the powers of the Prosecutor to intervene in a case being heard by the Arbitration Court.

Deputies considered legislations concerning appeals against decisions and imposition of administrative penalties at a meeting of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms.

The Committee on Legislation, Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Citizens supported in the course of the meeting the draft Resolution of the Supreme Council "On amnesty in connection with the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and the thirty-fifth anniversary of the formation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic".

A number of relevant legislations that will be included in the agenda of the next plenary session were discussed by deputies in the course of the meeting of the Committee on Education, Public Associations and the Media.

The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance considered in the first reading the law-in-draft that gives the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank new levers to protect the population from financial pyramids.
