The documentary project entitled "1941-1945: The Path of the Victors" was prepared by the press service of the PMR Supreme Council for the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people over Nazi Germany.
The PMR Supreme Council Deputies celebrated the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War in their constituencies. Parliamentarians marched in the Immortal Regiment columns and laid flowers at the Glory memorials together with residents of villages and cities.

The republic leadership took part in the opening of an exhibition dedicated to the Great Patriotic War on the day of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. Visitors will be able to see restored military equipment, weapons, personal belongings of veterans and much more. The PMR Supreme Council Deputy Chairman took part in the opening ceremony. A solemn ceremony of laying flowers was held at the capital's Memorial of Glory. Thousands of grateful descendants, despite the pouring rain, came to a sacred place for every Pridnestrovian to pay tribute to the defenders of the Motherland who gave us peace.
Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeeva and Supreme Council deputies Oleg Bayev and Vadim Levitsky spoke about the fates of their relatives and their contribution to the fight against fascism in 1941-1945.
The central and largest event of the celebration of the Great Victory Day was "The Immortal Regiment" procession. The event was again held in the cities and districts of Pridnestrovie after a five-year break. The country's leaders, including Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva and deputies, marched along the main street of the capital with portraits of their Victory heroes.
The official part of the events on the occasion of the Great Victory Day began early in the morning on the main square of Tiraspol. The Victory Banner was raised into the sky above the Pridnestrovian capital to the sounds of the national anthem of the PMR.
Festive events took place all week in the cities and districts of Pridnestrovie on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. Deputies of the Supreme Council took part in it.
