The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov held a meeting with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the PMR Alexander Vataman and the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of South Ossetia in the PMR Vitaly Yankovsky.

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov congratulated employees of state environmental protection agencies of Pridnestrovie on their professional holiday and World Environment Day.

The Supreme Council considered the President's law-in-draft on amending the Code of Administrative Offenses. The goal is to tighten administrative liability for driving a vehicle with a knowingly faulty exhaust system.

The PMR Supreme Council adopted in the final reading a package of legislative initiatives that will enshrine the cash-in and cash-out systems in the legal framework of the republic. The author of the legilation is the PMR Supreme Council Committee on economic policy, budget and finance Deputy Yuri Kucherenko.

Deputies consider it necessary to introduce tougher punishment for committing a crime and posting a video on the Internet. The legislations of the deputies of the parliamentary Committee on Legislation, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms passed the first reading.

The Central Bank of Pridnestrovie will be able to suppress illegal financial activity by informing law enforcement agencies about suspicious individuals and legal entities identified. Proposed by Deputy Yuri Kucherenko law-in-draft was adopted in the final reading. 

The Supreme Council adopted a Resolution on the report of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the PMR for 2024. Vyacheslav Kosinsky voiced the main points about the state of observance and protection of human and civil rights and freedoms in Pridnestrovie.

The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov presented a report on the activities of the PMR Supreme Council in 2024 to MP colleagues and official representatives of the President and the Government in the course of the plenary session.

52 teams will take part in "The President's Family - for Healthy Lifestyle" dragon boat rowing regatta on June 6. The groups of opponents were formed based on the results of the draw.

A ceremony dedicated to the 144th anniversary of the birth of avant-garde artist Mikhail Larionov was held in Tiraspol at a memorial stone on the street of the same name. Flowers were laid by deputies, schoolchildren, teachers, youth and representatives of the Obnovlenie party. The PMR Supreme Council Deputy Chairperson Galina Antyufeeva addressed the participants.
