The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov congratulated Pridnestrovian men on Father's Day.

Ceremonial event dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the RCH, the leading medical institution of Pridnestrovie, was held in the Palace of the Republic today. More than 200 employees of the RCH, including doctors, nurses and junior medical staff, representatives of the hospital's non-medical services gathered for this celebration. The Parliament Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeeva addressed the employees of the RCH with congratulations on behalf of the deputy corps.

The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov, the PMR Supreme Council Deputy Chairman Galina Antyufeeva, Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Viktor Guzun and Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare Sergey Cheban took part in the discussion of current issues.

The Supreme Council adopted in the second final reading the President's law-in-draft on confiscating the car of drivers who repeatedly get behind the wheel while intoxicated. The norm is aimed at protecting other road users from malicious violators.

The PMR Government has put forward an initiative to bring labor legislation standards in line with the modern realities of labor relations. The legislations were supported by deputies in the first reading at the plenary session.

The new law "On granting the right to preferential travel by public transport to certain categories of citizens" will come into force on January 1, 2025.

The Supreme Council at a plenary session supported in two readings the law-in-draft on amendments to the republican budget for 2024, which increase the limits for the treatment of Pridnestrovians abroad. The author of the legislative initiative was the President PMR.
