The state target program aimed at providing housing for orphans and children left without parental care continued to operate despite the difficult economic situation last year. The state program is designed until 2027. The deputies learned about how the program worked last year at today's plenary session.
Thus, state administrations of cities and districts purchased 55 apartments and houses for orphans and children last year according to the report. The largest number of residential premises – 18 – were purchased in Tiraspol and Dnestrovsk. 11 apartments and houses were purchased in Slobodzeya district, 7 in Grigoriopol district, 6 residential premises in Bendery and 6 in Rybnitsa district using funds from the republican budget. 5 apartments and houses were purchased in Dubossary district. 2 persons from among orphans and children left without parental care were provided with their own square meters in Kamenka district.
The final volume of funding for the state program in 2024 amounted to 15.7 million rubles – 82.8% of the planned funding.
It was initially planned that the state would purchase 61 residential premises for orphans in 2024. And 19 million rubles were planned in the republican budget for these purposes. However, it was not possible to implement the state program 100% due to the constant increase in real estate prices and an insufficiently effective mechanism for implementing the state program at the local level. The deputies approved the report on the implementation of the state program for providing housing for orphans and children left without parental care last year by adopting a corresponding resolution.
