Pridnestrovians elected their representatives to the Parliament of the VII convocation on November 29, 2020. 33 deputies continued the vector of development of the republic set in previous years. The main laws for the first year of parliamentarians' work dealt with economics and social policy.

The first elections to the Supreme Council of the 1st convocation were held in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic on November 25, 1990. There is practically no information about the elections, but it became an important transitional link from the proclamation of the republic to the beginning of the formation of its statehood.
