The roof is being changed in the House of Culture of the village of Kitskany. The work will take about a month. The building needed renovation for a long time. It is carried out in stages. Windows were replaced in 2019 and there are more than 30 of them, and external doors. Money were received by them, including from the Fund for the Execution of Voters' Orders. According to the same program, Igor Yarych, Deputy of the Supreme Council for "Kitskansky" constituency No.23 sent funds for the construction of a new boiler house. The building of the House of Culture has not been heated for more than 30 years. An autonomous gas boiler house was equipped and a heating system was installed on behalf of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky at the expense of the Tirasteploenergo investment program. Roof replacement was the third stage of repair work.
The House of Culture for the villagers is a leisure center. Meetings, concerts are held here, children are engaged in creativity. The architectural appearance of the building attracts tourists. The House of Culture has already hosted guests from Belgium, Ireland and Germany. The real value of the village is inside the building: the monumental painting "Hospitable Moldova". The multi-meter panel was painted in 1968–1969 by Soviet artists Ilya Bogdesko and Leonid Belyaev. They say that local residents became the prototypes of this unique work. The painting was awarded in 1970 the gold medal of the USSR Academy of Arts. The attraction will soon be restored: after the repair of the facade of the building of the House of Culture and the interior.
The course of repair work is under control of the deputy for the constituency Igor Yarych. The parliamentarian raised the issue of the reconstruction of the House of Culture at the beginning of the year during the report of the Head of the Slobodzeya district.
Other issues raised by residents are being resolved in the village of Kitskany at the same time. The main problems remain the condition of roads and street lighting. They are also solved in stages.
Kotovsky Street is one of the main streets in Kitskany. Its length is 5 kilometers. Work on its coverage was completed last year thanks to the deputy program. Poles and lanterns from the Soviet era were replaced.
The lighting of rural streets will continue. Subsidiary roads are next in line.
