Representatives of the Parliament joined tens of thousands of Pridnestrovians who gathered in the center of the capital to express their position on the decisions that the Republic of Moldova makes regarding citizens and economic agents of Pridnestrovie.

One of the issues that parliamentarians considered at the plenary session on January 24 was amendments and additions to the PMR Law “On the Republican Budget for 2024”.

The PMR Parliament considered at the first plenary meeting of the year the draft law “On approval of the state target program “Replacement of lamps with mercury-containing lamps for street lighting of public roads of the PMR, which are in state and municipal ownership, with LED lamps for 2024-2028”.

The issues of financing natural monopolies, subsidizing the difference between the economically justified tariff for utilities and the tariff for the population, as well as the reconstruction of the sewage pumping station in the city of Bendery were discussed within the framework of an extended meeting in the PMR Government with the participation of deputies of the PMR Supreme Council.
