News of the Supreme Council

The Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov congratulated parliamentarian Oleg Bayev on his 75th birthday on behalf of the Supreme Council.

The initiative of the PMR Government was presented to the deputy corps, which proposes to amend the law “On State Duty” and the PMR Civil Code.

Parliamentarians supported in the first reading in the course of the plenary session  the initiative of fellow deputies, which will allow part-time workers to go on vacation regardless of the vacation at their main place of work.

The Supreme Council at a plenary meeting voted to give consent to submit to court the case of bringing to trial the Supreme Council deputy of the fifth convocation Vladimir Pasyutin. The PMR Prosecutor's Office made a submission to Parliament.

The Parliament adopted amendments to the law “On Customs Tariffs” in the second final reading. The PMR Government proposed to exempt from customs duties organizations with foreign investments that import equipment into the territory of Pridnestrovie for their own technological needs.

15 million rubles will be allocated for the purchase of housing for orphans next year from the republican budget instead of 6 million previously planned for 2024 in the corresponding state program. The Government proposed to make amendments to the program passport as provided for in the draft republican budget for the next financial year.

The Supreme Council adopted the “Improvement and preservation of burial places of Heroes of the Soviet Union, full holders of the Order of Glory and Memorials of Military Glory of the Great Patriotic War” draft state program in the first reading.

Events dedicated to City Day were held. Deputies of the Supreme Council from Rybnitsa and Rybnitsa district took part in the celebrations.

The PMR Supreme Council Presidium meeting took place online today. Parliamentarians discussed a number of issues that will be submitted for consideration by deputies at the upcoming plenary sessions.
