The Supreme Council Deputies enshrined in the law “On social protection of persons with disabilities” and the law “On education” some measures of social support for the population, which were previously recorded in the PMR Law “On measures of state support for economic entities of the PMR in connection with the negative consequences of external factors”.

The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov took part in the “Question of the Day” program on the First Pridnestrovian. They discussed the law “On the Republican Budget for 2024,” which was adopted in final reading on December 20, as well as the results of the visit to the Russian capital.

An exhibition of products and a ceremonial meeting were organized on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the flagship of the Pridnestrovian light and textile industry on the territory of the enterprise. Among the guests of honor was Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and members of parliament.

The Supreme Council adopted law-in-draft concerning the provision of state support to industrial and agricultural organizations in two readings. Enterprises are given the opportunity to extend the repayment period of the soft loan up to 12 months.

A larger number of Pridnestrovians will be able to receive state support in the form of a social tax deduction for treatment abroad.

Parliamentarians considered and adopted at the plenary session in two readings government initiatives on measures to support economic entities of the republic to minimize the negative consequences of the unfavorable foreign economic and foreign policy situation.

The Supreme Council adopted the draft of the “Development of the drinking water supply system in settlements of the PMR for 2024-2028” new target state program in the second final reading.

The PMR Supreme Council Deputies supported a package of legislations developed by deputies of the Committee on Education, Public Associations and Media on introducing amendments and additions to the law “On Cinematography” and the PMR Code of Administrative Offenses in the second final reading.

Deputies in the course of the plenary session voted to approve a package of legislative initiatives that will regulate online commerce in the second final reading.
