1920 copies of textbooks last year were purchased and published for special correctional educational organizations and for technical schools and colleges. These are 17 titles of educational literature. This was announced to the deputies of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Public Associations and Mass Media by the Minister of Education Svetlana Ivanishina. She presented a report on the implementation in 2022 of the State Target Program “Textbook” for 2022-2026”.
Funding for 641.5 thousand rubles was initially planned by the state program for 2022. But in the end, 60% less funds were allocated to the republican budget (237.4 thousand rubles) due to the economic situation. The previous state program "Textbook" ended its operation in 2021 and its results showed that even taking into account the underfunding, the state target program remains the only state source of funding for the acquisition and publication of educational and educational literature for kindergartens, schools, correctional institutions and technical schools of Pridnestrovie. Schools with the Moldovan language of instruction received 5750 copies of educational literature (25 titles), schools and technical schools with the Russian language of instruction – 6300 copies of textbooks (4 titles), schools with the Ukrainian language of instruction received 400 copies of educational literature and manuals (9 titles) During the period of the previous state program from 2017 to 2021.
7 ready-to-print original layouts of educational publications in 2022, including those containing a republican component, were made for educational organizations with Russian, Moldovan and Ukrainian languages of instruction.
The parliamentarians emphasized the importance of the state program for updating the educational fund in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Standard for levels and types of education, including taking into account the development and integration of the republican component and to create modern educational, software and methodological complexes in accordance with the strategic priorities of education of the PMR.
The state will continue under the “Textbook” program to provide Pridnestrovian schools with textbooks in the Moldovan and Ukrainian languages, educational and methodological literature will be received by kindergartens, special (correctional) educational organizations, professional institutions in the current and subsequent years.
