The prosecutor proposes to change the conditions for seizing property

The law-in-draft of the Prosecutor of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on amendments to the Code of Criminal Procedure was considered by deputies in the course of the meeting of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens. It is proposed to improve the legal relations related to the seizure of property during the preliminary investigation.

The court decision will specify the term for seizing the property and justify the amount of property commensurate with the harm caused if the proposed changes are accepted, the official emphasized.

The law-in-draft of the Prosecutor was supported by the profile committee deputies. It will be considered in the first reading at one of the plenary sessions.
