The Supreme Council Deputies supported law-in-draft of their colleagues from the Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens in the first reading. The amendments are being made to the Code of Administrative Offences, so that the Accounts Chamber can draw up administrative protocols for obstructing inspections.
The PMR Supreme Council Chairman and deputies of the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation, Law Enforcement, Defense, Security, Peacekeeping, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens took part in a meeting of the Collegium of the PMR Ministry of Internal Affairs, at which the department reported on its work last year.

Parliamentarians supported in two readings their colleagues’ law-in-draft on amending the law “On the Status of Military Personnel”. The legislation gives the right to engage in paid sports activities, if this does not interfere with the performance of military service duties.
The Supreme Council adopted in the second final reading the changes proposed by the PMR President to the Code of Administrative Offenses. The law-in-draft introduces special liability for stopping or parking vehicles in places where prohibiting road signs or markings are installed.
