One of the issues that parliamentarians considered at the plenary session on January 24 was amendments and additions to the PMR Law “On the Republican Budget for 2024”.

The Presidium members determined the date of the next plenary meeting as well. It will take place on the 31st of January.

The issues of financing natural monopolies, subsidizing the difference between the economically justified tariff for utilities and the tariff for the population, as well as the reconstruction of the sewage pumping station in the city of Bendery were discussed within the framework of an extended meeting in the PMR Government with the participation of deputies of the PMR Supreme Council.

The PMR Parliament considered at the first plenary meeting of the year the draft law “On approval of the state target program “Replacement of lamps with mercury-containing lamps for street lighting of public roads of the PMR, which are in state and municipal ownership, with LED lamps for 2024-2028”.

The parliamentarians gave an interpretation of the current norm of the Law “On Corporate Income Tax” on what expenses include other expenses associated with delivery to the place (warehouse) of destination, incurred by the buyer both in the territory of Pridnestrovie and abroad.

Amendments that will consolidate the mandatory investigation and recording of every occupational disease and every industrial accident are being made to the PMR Law “On Occupational Health and Safety” and to the PMR Labor Code.
