The Legal Entities Liquidation Procedure Simplification

Deputies adopted amendments to the Civil Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and to the law “On local authorities, local self-government and state administration” in the course of the plenary session in the second final reading. The legislation amendments provide for simplification of the procedure for liquidation of legal entities.

It was proposed as part of the legislative initiative of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic to assign to the state administrations of cities and districts the powers to liquidate those legal entities of which they are not the founder. Such decisions can only be made after an appropriate court ruling and the creation of a liquidation commission under state administrations. Local authorities will be able to liquidate legal entities that are located in their jurisdiction on the basis of a court decision only.

Parliamentarians voted to make the amendments. The document will be sent to the head of state for signature.
