The PMR Supreme Council adopted in two readings today the President’s legislations on increasing pensions and benefits in the republic by 10% from February 1, 2024.
The PMR Supreme Council adopted in the first reading the law-in-draft of the PMR President on amending the law “On Road Safety”. The initiative eliminates the test required to replace a driver's license.
The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky held a regular meeting dedicated to increasing the level of wages for healthcare workers. The 27th of January is World Holocaust Remembrance Day. It was on this day in 1945 that the Red Army liberated prisoners from one of the largest Nazi concentration camps, Auschwitz-Birkenau, known as Auschwitz. Mourning events dedicated to this date were held at the Jewish cemetery in Bendery on January 26.

Memorial rally on the eve of International Holocaust Remembrance Day was held in Tiraspol. Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeyeva and parliamentarian Grigory Dyachenko laid flowers at the monument in memory of the innocent people killed during the years of fascist occupation.
