The PMR Supreme Council supported at a plenary meeting in the second final reading today a package of government legislations relating to the development of the tourism industry in Pridnestrovie.

Deputies of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Viktor Guzun and Vadim Kravchuk developed a legislative initiative that amends the Code of Administrative Offenses and establishes liability for violations of legislation in the field of procurement against persons applying the procurement law.

The Supreme Council Deputies adopted in final reading the legislations that will give all conscript students the opportunity to continue their studies during military service.

Parliamentarians Galina Antyufeyeva and Oleg Petrik came up with a legislative initiative that would allow young teachers employed in educational organizations without specialized education to receive a tax deduction, provided that this tax deduction was not previously provided. The parliament considered this initiative and adopted it in the first non-final reading at the plenary session.

The PMR Supreme Council approved at a plenary meeting today a report for 2023 on the implementation of the “Support and development of tourism in the PMR” state target program for 2019–2026.” The program is aimed at creating a modern and competitive tourism industry in Pridnestrovie.

Deputies in the course of the plenary meeting approved a report on the implementation in 2023 of the state target program aimed at creating favorable conditions for sustainable and balanced growth of entrepreneurship as one of the factors in ensuring a consistently high level of economic development in the PMR.

The Supreme Council, by a majority vote, decided to release the current chairman of the Council of People's Deputies of the Kamenka District and the city of Kamenka Oleg Kisnichan from his position. The issue was considered today at a plenary session of parliament on the basis of an appeal received from a group of deputies of the District City Council of Kamenka.

The Supreme Council approved a report on the implementation last year of the state program for preferential lending to defenders of the PMR and combatants in Afghanistan. A corresponding resolution has been adopted.

A new sports ground, equipped to modern standards, was opened today near school No. 11 in Bendery. Deputy of the Supreme Council Anton Onufrienko was present at the opening.
