Pridnestrovie is a socially oriented state. There are laws and state programs in the legislative field of the republic aimed among other things at supporting children, orphans and families with children. Children's Day and the beginning of the summer holidays were celebrated at the constituency No. 25 "Western" in Tiraspol on May 31. Festive events for the International Children's Day were organized by the deputy of the Supreme Council for district No. 25 "Western", the PMR Supreme Council Deputy Chairman Galina Antyufeyeva together with deputies of the Tiraspol City Council and the village of Novo-Tiraspolsky.

The holiday for children of constituency No.5 “Central” was held in the Park of Alexander Nevsky in Bendery. The children were entertained by animators, they could go on rides and try ice cream for free for Children's Day. The event was organized by the deputy of the Supreme Council for the district Sergei Pisarenko.

There is one more modern sports complex in Tiraspol. It was opened on the territory of secondary school No. 8. The PMR Supreme Council Deputy for constituency No. 30 “Kirovsky” Gregory Dyachenko took part in the ceremony.
