Release from the position of Chairman of District City Council of Kamenka

Deputies of the Supreme Council considered in the course of the plenary meeting the issue of dismissing Oleg Kisnichan, Chairman of the Council of People's Deputies of Kamenka District and the city of Kamenka. The initiative was taken on the basis of an appeal received on July 2 from a group of deputies of the District City Council of Kamenka about the loss of confidence in the current chairman of the Council.

The Speaker of Parliament informed those present in the meeting hall that information about the actions of the Chairman of the District City Council of Kamenka Oleg Kisnichan, indicating a loss of confidence and, accordingly, his release from his position, was provided to all deputies of the Supreme Council.

A secret voting procedure took place in the meeting hall of the Supreme Council, according to the legislation. The Counting Commission of the Supreme Council distributed ballots to the 27 deputies present. , 26 deputies of the Supreme Council voted for the dismissal of Oleg Kisnichan as a result of a secret ballot, and 1 parliamentarian voted against. Oleg Kisnichan will continue to work in the district city council as a deputy for his constituency.

The deputy corps voted for the adoption of the corresponding Resolution of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. According to the text of the document, Oleg Kisnichan, who has been relieved of his post, must transfer the affairs to the oldest deputy by July 5. Deputies will elect a new chairman of the Council of People's Deputies of Kamenka on July 11 in the course of the session of the District City Council of Kamenka.
