The PMR Supreme Council adopted the legislations relating to the sphere of general education, including preschool education, in the second final reading.

Deputies of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Viktor Guzun and Vadim Kravchuk proposed the initiative to amend the law “On the fundamentals of the tax system in the PMR.”

Amendments and additions to the law “On additional measures aimed at stabilizing the PMR economy” were adopted by parliamentarians in two readings at a plenary session. It will allow continuing to pay debts on severance pay and salaries to those who worked under an employment contract or contract at OJSC Litmash. The company is currently in bankruptcy.

“On the report of the PMR Supreme Council Chairman on the activity results of the PMR Supreme Council and its bodies for 2023” draft resolution was adopted by at the Parliament plenary session. Medical Worker Day is traditionally celebrated in the PMR on the third Sunday of June. The PMR Supreme Council Deputy Chairman Galina Antyufeyeva came to congratulate the doctors of her district on their professional holiday.

The extended meeting was held at the presidential executive office. Future projects of the consolidated budget and the Capital Investment Fund for 2025 were discussed. Residents of high-rise buildings raise the issue of repairing courtyards and intra-block passages during personal meetings with deputies, by means of social networks groups. President Vadim Krasnoselsky proposed amending the current legislation so that funding for repairs is targeted annually.
