The deputy corps of the Supreme Council was replenished with two deputies, who were first elected to the highest legislative body of the republic. They are Boris German and Stepan Stepanov.

The Head of parliament and his deputy were elected at the first meeting of the Supreme Council of the VII convocation. Alexander Korshunov will continue to lead the Supreme Council. Galina Antyufeyeva's candidacy was supported by the deputy corps for the post of Vice Speaker.
