The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky held a meeting with deputies of the Supreme and City Councils representing the interests of the residents of Tiraspol and Dnestrovsk. The questions raised in the hall of the capital city council concerned the state of the negotiation process with the Republic of Moldova, vaccination in the republic and the recognition of the Pridnestrovian vaccination certificates. Last year, the state spent about 300 million rubles on the fight against coronavirus. Funds are reserved for the fight against COVID-19 in this year's budget.
They spoke at the meeting about the implementation of the program of the Capital Investment Fund and the results of its operation. 56 kindergartens, 62 schools, 21 correctional institutions, 42 healthcare facilities, as well as sports, culture, and additional education facilities have been repaired throughout the republic since 2018, from the moment this state program was launched. Over 300 million rubles were spent on the repair of education, health care, park areas, playgrounds in Tiraspol. One of the large-scale projects implemented under the capital investment program is the Ekaterininsky Park in the city center. The plans are to create a museum complex, to change the look of the city's embankment. Renovation work is underway at the Pridnestrovian State University currently, it is necessary to pay attention to the nearby stadium and "Pobedy" (Victory) park. The Capital Investment Fund finances the reconstruction of the stadium near school No. 18 in the Oktyabrsky microdistrict. It is planned by the beginning of the school year to build a football field, basketball court and running tracks. The President proposed to create a section for mini-football lessons to be held at this stadium. Tiraspol should have a football team according to Vadim Krasnoselsky.
The President called on representatives of the state administration, deputies of the Supreme, Tiraspol and Dniester city councils to work together in developing proposals for including a particular facility in the capital investment program.
Deputies from Dnestrovsk raised the topic of overhaul of the city stadium, which has always been and remains a popular recreation place for Dniester residents. The city hospital requires attention, it is necessary to carry out repairs in the infectious diseases department, to improve the roadway in the area from the emergency room to the intensive care unit.
An important topic is the sphere of communal services. It was noted at the meeting that there are improvements in Tiraspol. Tens of millions of rubles are allocated to replace power grids, water supply and heat supply systems.
City council deputies raised the topic of non-residential objects that are in an inadequate condition and pose a danger to people, as well as the topic of old buildings. Many houses in Tiraspol are over a hundred years old, more than 20 objects are in emergency. Local deputies voiced the issue of ensuring fire safety in kindergartens and schools. The topic of the development of tourism in the republic, the creation of bike paths in Tiraspol was raised.
Deputies of the Supreme and city councils focused on the fact that Tiraspol and Dnestrovsk are developing, infrastructure is developing. According to parliamentarian Viktor Guzun, this is a great merit of the PMR President, the deputy corps, heads of state administrations, who jointly implement large-scale projects for our state.
The meetings of the deputies of the Supreme and local councils with the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky were held in almost all cities and regions of the republic. Joint meeting is scheduled for next week at the Bendery City Council.
