The Supreme Council supported amendments to the law "On purchases in the PMR" proposed by the Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Viktor Guzun.

The Supreme Council of the PMR adopted the law “On state genomic registration” in the first reading. The main purpose of genomic registration is to help solve crimes and establish identity.

The Supreme Council adopted law-in-draft extending the norms of a number of legislative acts aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus in the republic. The initiative was sent by the PMR President in the mode of legislative necessity.

Special Representative of the State Duma of the Russian Federation for Migration and Citizenship Konstantin Zatulin at the first meeting of the spring session of the State Duma of the Russian Federation made a proposal to appeal to the Government of the Russian Federation on the issue of assistance in vaccinating residents of Pridnestrovie against coronavirus.

Members of the Presidium of the Supreme Council considered a number of draft resolutions that will additionally be included in the agenda of the plenary session.

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov congratulated Pridnestrovians on the Orthodox holiday of Epiphany. 

The work of the PMR Supreme Council in the new year will continue online due to the ongoing unfavorable epidemiological situation. The deputies work in committees and commissions on plans for 2021 until the first plenary meeting.
