Quiz for high school students of the capital's school No.18

Victory Day has remained the most touching, most heartfelt holiday and glorious date in the history of our people for decades. Deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency No. 32 “Komsomolsky” Andrei Mezhinsky organized “Iron Logic” quiz for high school pupils of the capital’s school No. 18, dedicated to the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War On the eve of May 9. More than 90 students from 13 teams fought in an intellectual game, guessing thematic questions related to the events of 1941-45, glorifying the feat of the Soviet soldier.

Andrei Mezhinsky expressed gratitude to all participants for their interest in history and memory of the people’s feat. He emphasized the importance of involving teenagers in the May 9 theme and noted that supporting patriotic education among young people plays a key role in the formation of citizenship and respect for the history of their country.

The parliamentarian gave sweet gifts as a prize to each participant in the quiz for active participation. The winners were awarded gift certificates for visiting the Fitness Mafia network of sports clubs.

Andrei Mezhinsky expressed gratitude to the administration of school No.18 represented by its director Olga Popescu for hosting the event as well as to the organizers of the “Iron Logic” project for the successful holding of the intellectual quiz. Special thanks were addressed to the Fitness Mafia sports network for gifts to the winners, assistance to the project and support of youth.
