Amendments and additions to the law “On additional measures aimed at stabilizing the economy of the PMR” were adopted by parliamentarians in two readings at a plenary session. It will allow continuing to pay debts on severance pay and salaries to those who worked under an employment contract or contract at OJSC Litmash. The company is currently in bankruptcy.
The Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic made first-stage payments during May and June 2023. These are those employees to whom OJSC Litmash is liable for causing harm to life or health. All payments were made in full. Payments to second-priority creditors are made in part, in proportion to the amount of debt owed to each of them. Almost 10 million rubles were allocated for these purposes. Some of these funds remained unclaimed due to objective reasons. About 810 thousand rubles will be proportionally distributed among second-priority creditors at the initiative of the Government and with the support of the deputy corps. The Litmash plant remains in debt under the demands of second-priority creditors for the payment of severance pay and wages for persons who worked under an employment contract, including under a contract, and for the payment of remuneration under copyright agreements.
Amendments to the law “On additional measures aimed at stabilizing the PMR economy” were adopted by parliament in two readings at once. The Government will continue payments to the creditors of the second stage of OJSC Litmash in the summer after the document is signed by the PMR President.
