Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov took part in the award ceremony for the winners of the "Person of the Year - 2024" competition. The speaker presented the award in the "Labor Valor" nomination.

The winners of the "Pridnestrovian Quality" competition were awarded in Tiraspol. There were 61 nominations in total. The participants presented more than 200 names of goods and services to the qualified jury. The Supreme Council deputies Viktor Guzun and Sergey Cheban took part in the award ceremony.

The Supreme Council adopted in the first reading the legislations on reforming the system of local authority and optimizing the number of rural and settlement deputies.

The Supreme Council deputies supported the law-in-draft of their colleagues on introducing an amendment to the PMR Housing Code. The goal is to clarify the norm for providing residential space under a social tenancy agreement.

The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov answering journalists' questions after the plenary session noted that the appeals were sent to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, the Administration of the President of Russia and the Commissioner for Human Rights.

The PMR Supreme Council adopted the law "On the republican budget for 2025" in the third and final reading at a plenary session today. The amounts of funding for all state target programs, funds and areas have been formed and clarified. The 2025 budget will remain socially oriented in 2025.

Deputies of the Education Committee Igor Buga, Andrei Safonov and Pavel Shinkaryuk propose to regulate in the specialized law the process of implementing the main vocational training programs – vocational training programs, including in the form of practice-oriented (dual) training.

The state target program "Prevention and treatment of HIV infection, viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections" will come into effect in 2025. It is designed until 2028.
