The best Pridnestrovians in their profession have been named based on the results of the outgoing year. The XXVIII award ceremony for the winners of the republican competition "Person of the Year - 2024" was held in the Palace of the Republic. There are 10 nominations in total. Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov took part in the award ceremony. The speaker of the parliament presented the award in the "Labor Valor" nomination. The winner was the head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Alexander Fuchedzhi. 116 crimes were solved under his leadership, including 14 serious, 25 especially serious and 46 in the field of drug trafficking this year. Laureate Alexander Fuchedzhi expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the trust and support shown to him.
The best in the fields of education, medicine, economics, defense, as well as in sports, culture and mass media were named. For example, the laureate of this year was the director of the Rybnitsa Russian Secondary Comprehensive School No. 6 with lyceum classes Natalia Romanovskaya - for innovation and international cooperation in the nomination "Science and Education".
The director of the Rybnitsa school works to ensure that both children and teachers participate in various projects, including Russian ones. For example, in August of this year, a team of young teachers from the school represented our republic in the competition for Russian compatriots abroad "Project Accelerator".
The laureates were supported with applause by Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva and parliamentarians Sergey Cheban, Grigory Dyachenko and Pavel Shinkaryuk in the hall of the Palace of the Republic.
Each laureate left the awards ceremony with a diploma, medal and certificate of the title “Person of the Year – 2024”.
