Pridnestrovian Quality - 2024

The winners of the XXII Republican competition "Pridnestrovian Quality" were awarded in Tiraspol. There were 61 nominations totally. The participants presented more than 200 names of goods and services to the qualified jury.

The competition is held under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pridnestrovie, jointly with the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, government services, state administrations of cities and districts, experts from the Institute of Technical Regulation and Metrology. Applications for participation this year began to be accepted in August. The jury of the competition has visited the best Pridnestrovian enterprises with an inspection since October.

Traditionally, the largest enterprises of the republic, the flagships of the Pridnestrovian economy take part in the competition. The Moldavian Metallurgical Plant was awarded the "Pridnestrovian Quality" sign in the "Metallurgical Products" nomination. "Tirotex" conquered the jury with its new collection of bedding, tableware and bath products, and the Valentina Solovieva "Odema" factory presented 14 models of women's suits and dresses to the competition this year.

Tiraspol Bakery won in two nominations. The enterprise was nominated in the "Soft Drinks" in addition to the expected and predictable victory in the "Flour, Bakery, Confectionery". Earlier this year, Tiraspol Bakery presented a new product – the drinks "Nash Krai Yug", "Nash Krai Center", "Nash Krai Sever". The Tiraspol wine and cognac factory KVINT, which annually produces about 20 million bottles of wine, cognac and liquor products, was awarded the "Pridnestrovian quality" sign.

The winners of the competition were not so large, but no less famous enterprises – "Rilla", "Rist", "BIOFROST", "Correct water" and others.

The service sector is developing more and more actively in the republic every year. The winner of the competition in the nomination "Sports and health services" was the Republican Association of Fitness Industry. The association includes a school for training gym instructors, as well as 5 fitness clubs with different pricing policies and a variety of equipment. The organization is also known for its social projects aimed at popularizing a healthy lifestyle.

This year, representatives of the organization held 88 competitions, training sessions and holidays for children and adults. And all free of charge. The award ceremony was attended by deputies of the Supreme Council - Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Viktor Guzun and Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare Sergey Cheban. The parliamentarians presented awards to the laureates in the category "Services": in the field of construction, transport, education, sports, trade, medicine, pharmacy services.

Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Viktor Guzun noted that today it is very important for the development of our state to promote and popularize the products of domestic manufacturers.

The deputy emphasized that today the state is trying to provide maximum support to businesses in Pridnestrovie. Subsidizing the interest rate on a preferential loan for the development of business is among the main measures of state support.
